Finance & Audit Committee
The purpose of the Finance & Audit Committee is to advise the ABRF Treasurer and Executive Board on the association's overall financial condition. The Committee recommends the appointment of ABRF's independent auditors and meets with them annually to discuss ABRF's financial operations. The Committee also oversees the development of the annual ABRF budget.
ABRF investments are conservatively managed with the goal of maintaining sufficient funds for at least one year of operating expenses. In addition, annual gains, when available, are expected to supplement ABRF income for operations. Investments are allocated among money market , stock index, mixed, international and bond funds to meet a diversified, moderate-growth portfolio.
