Our mission is to:
- Promote and encourage communication and cooperation among member laboratories
that carry out DNA sequencing.
- Conduct studies to assess the capabilities of DNA sequencing laboratories
and to disseminate the findings of these while they are still accurate and
relevant.
- Provide materials that help member laboratories evaluate their performance
and that promote excellence in DNA sequencing.
- Provide a mechanism for sharing of information relevant to the organization,
administration and financial management of DNA sequencing laboratories.
